Roop's philosophy on the world is to "leave it better than you found it".

He seeks impact through volunteering, donations, and his work. Roop is currently a co-founder of Bild AI, which aims to make the process of building houses more affordable and efficient. It uses AI to analyze blueprints in order to catch errors, create budgets, and expedite permits.

Ran and scaled a bootstrapped company focused on bringing transparency to the logistics industry.

Developed safety systems on self-driving cars at Waymo, ensuring they could detect traffic lights using AI.

Worked at Google, developing research-grade AI models to improve physical security.

Graduated from Columbia University at 19 with a BS in Computer Science, focusing on AI.

Volunteering

Roop volunteers regularly and worked at Verily's Project Baseline COVID-19 testing sites during the critical early months of the pandemic (March-June 2020).
